PK5.0: Good Product and a value deal.Features of product.1. Whistle is not very loud but fairly loud and am damn sure if one use it in forest hills on the trek it can be heard from at least half a Kilometre.2. It has a small mirror in cap for signalling which could be used effectively if one put it in right angle to sun.3. Ferro road is pretty small and would require good deal of effort to lit a fire.4. Compass is needed liquid filled but can’t say how long it will remain so.5. There is enough hollow space in it put a few storm match sticks a couple of vaseline soaked cotton pieces or some tinder.I haven’t yet used product over long term so would try to put views after using it in real world..Still great value for money spend. Mind you same product is also available at price of approx 2000 on this website itself.
Brian4.0: Fairly loud not ear piercing loud but will attract attention in the outdoors. I wouldn’t expect years and years of service but at this price point it should last the weekend warrior many outings.The compass does seem to work but I wouldn’t ever want to base my survival off it as my only guidance tool. For general direction it will suffice.Has a tiny storage area that will keep things dry due to the rubber seal. Should be able to hold a dozen or so regular wooden matches and a small flint for striking. Or some fishing hooks and several meters of line.
Strum4.0: I’m sure the review of this little kit should be a 5star review but because of poor packaging the cap fell off in transit and the matches and flint spilled out of the box and so were not delivered. I like the whistle which acts as a small container to hold matches flint or other small objects when the cap is screwed on; the compass and mirror on the top (cap)are both functional and good to have. So great product that was only 80% delivered. I’ll keep it as is.
Yair Nieves4.0: Si la verdad lo primero que me atrajo fue el precio; revisándolo me di cuenta que es funcional lo que esperaba y hasta me sorprendió en ciertos detalles como el tamaño y el pedernal. Por el tipo de plástico da la sensación de que podría quebrarse fácilmente y prefiero ponerlo a prueba. La correa tal vez sea el punto débil. Considerarlo como accesorio de categoría básica.
