This is my first 1 star review on Amazon. This item is absolute trash. It’s about an 8/10 on difficulty to assemble. It feels extremely flimsy. There is a lot of free range on it before the steering kicks in. This causes you to constantly readjust when you’re simply trying to push in a straight line. It tips over incredibly easy which could be dangerous for your child. When you go up or down a curb if you lift the rear wheels up the whole thing tips over. If you lift the front wheel up instead the rear basket gets stuck on the curb. So you either damage the trike or risk tipping and injuring your child.The break lever is extremely flimsy. You can’t put much pressure on it as it is a thin piece of plastic. The foot rests where your childs feet are supposed to be are way too far back. Your child will not be able to sit comfortably at all. On the box of the item there is a child sat on the trike and you can even see that is impossible to rest their feet comfortably. My Son had to have his legs pulled back far behind the rest of his body and only his tip toes could rest on the foot rests due to the angle required to get his feet on them.The foot rests are dangerous. When I was pushing my Son his foot slipped off of the front of the foot rest due to the fact that they are too far back. This led to his foot getting trapped between the ground and the bottom of the foot rest. This has caused an injury to his ankle. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I picked it up for £30 on a sale and it is currently £99. I am luckily having it picked up by a courier and returned to Amazon for a full refund.Don’t make the mistake we did and risk harming your child. We ignored other peoples reviews and now our Son paid the price for our ignorance.

The old trike we own feels much more flimsy and plastic but the Little Tykes trike feels strong and sturdy which can only be a good thing when it’s going to be put through its paces.The overall look of the trike is great and with the optional extras such as seat covers are not exactly needed but just like cruise control on a car it’s a great addition!The handles make it really easy to control and I love the fact that the handle is at a good height. I’m not the tallest guy in the world but sometimes these things can be a little bit low they are adjustable to suit most people including the shorter my wife is 5’2″ and this is fine.The travel bag is great for holding things such as nappies wipes and a few snacks which means you can go on a little adventure without having to carry around another changing bag. The basket is great too but can’t take a lot of weight.Our boy hasn’t quite got to grips with pedalling yet and one of my favourite features of this trike is not mentioned above. There is a little dial on the front of the trike which enables that when turned (meaning the adult is in control) the pedals stop moving! This is a great feature as with the other brands even when you’re pushing the pedals turn and your little ones feet can be clipped and get trapped if they don’t keep their feet tucked underneath themThe Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike also comes with a little footbrake which is great because on the odd occasion we have tried to put the boy into the other trikes it rolls away and you end looking silly as you go to place your child in a seat that no longer exists!Admittedly there are cheaper alternatives to this trike on the market but if you’re happy to ‘invest’ so to speak it is worth every penny. When pushing the Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike I can really feel a difference in build quality and I can see this lasting for years to come. Which is lucky because that’s why we buy these right? So our kids can use them for years as they grow?We look forward to getting out and about a bit more over the coming months and the Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike Sports Edition will be coming with us!

It’s a really god trike. We were going back and forth between this and the smart trike but this was £35 so we went for this. Firstly my daughter LOVES it! If she sees it come out of the cupboard she squeals in excitement and toddles towards it 🙂 The assembly took some time and a lot of patience wish there was a video. The steering is good a bit funny to get used to when turning its not very sensitive but then when it kicks in its super sensitive. Easy enough though. The bag is a good size but I feel the zip and material are flimsy for the price. The harness is very good once I’d got it all adjusted I felt like my daughter was very safe. The footrests I think are too far back. My daughter eventually got used to her feet going on them but in the meantime her feet naturally fell forward where once she got her foot caught between the rest and the pedal. That’s another thing even when you pull the “disengage” disc out fully the pedals are still stiff so little feet can get hurt. Be nice if the bottle holder was on the front for the little one and not on the handle I’m guessing for the parent as my daughter is always reaching behind for water. All in all good for what I paid but I wouldn’t pay full price.

Bought for my grandson for his 1st birthday. He loves it! Needs building but straight forward and only took 20 minutes to complete. Should prove to be enjoyed for several years as it converts to allow the user to develop into each stage eventually reaching independent pedalling and steering. Safe for young toddlers due to the surrounding bar and harness. A complete hit with toddler and parents/grandparents.

Bought this for our great grandson for his first birthday. I Spent hours looking at all bikes that he would be able to use for a few yearsThis one is mostly made of steel other than the seat which obviously is plastic and the handle you push with also steers the front wheel.My granddaughter took him all round our local town in it its very safe and very strong [built like a tank].
