I chose this as I’d seen it mentioned amongst the best panniers list a you-tube review in which it looked very good and lastly that it tapered from 30cm (top) to 22cm (bottom)- which means it sits perfectly on my topeak super tourist disc rack and i still get a few cm heel clearance when peddling…result. And it’s well made 100% waterproof – not tested this but i can see it’s made of the tarpauling type material I’ve no doubt it’s waterproof and hard wearing. Has a zip pocket on the main side and a very good top seal.. You basically fold it 2-4 times the tops have a ridged strip to assist this and end either side has a buckle fastening you can adjust. All in all i like this very much and would highly recommend at this price. Oh. And there’s also a ridged insert that you can use or not it fixes in very securely with Velcro fastenings and means you know exactly how much space you have ie it becomes more of a box than bag.

Same size but with noticeably thinner materials. This is most noticeable especially at the seams between materials (see attached pictures) where unfortunately threads started peeling off after the first 2-3 uses. I would have considered it a one off but I bought two bags and they are both like this now. I hope it will not advance and affect the water resistance. I wish I could say that the thinner materials make the bags lighter but the only difference I can tell is that the bags feel more delicate the folding upper part got wrinkled very fast in spite of my best efforts. I don’t remember any of these changes in the previous bags of identical make and model I bought from a bike shop in 2018.Will update this after the first significant rain. 🙂

A brilliant bag for an brilliant price. 100% waterproof and certainly been tested recently! No problems getting the bags on and off easy to move the bottom clip for a more secure fixing if you need to. So glad I bought this (x2) as made a huge difference to my back and shoulders. Nice to have a front pocket for items you need quick access to such as lock or gloves.Delivery was well ahead of schedule even though it came all the way from Germany and a big thumbs up to the courier they used who kindly followed our instructios on where to put the package in our absence.

“Universal bike rack attachment” — not much room for interpretation there right? Well whatever they meant by that it wasn’t that you can fit this on any bike with a cargo rack.Most bikes in the Netherlands have thicker bar on their cargo racks — about 17cm and this can’t attach to them.

This would be a great pannier bag if it wasn’t for the fact that the top strip came away after less than 2 months use and now affects how the bag closes. I’ve tried to get in touch with customer service to no avail. Such a shame ruining what would otherwise be a perfect purchase.
