Got this light for biking in case I find myself needing to fix my old rusty beater while on the road in the middle of the night. I… would not want to rely on it. Simply put it’s quite dim especially considering it takes 3 AA batteries. I have lights that take 1 AA battery or run for hours and hours off a rechargeable and are brighter than this. For something that looks like it’s supposed to be a rugged lamp for doing work while on the road the light level is simply unacceptable. This isn’t worth it — get something else.Edit: In case anyone is tempted to suggest that the dim light allows the batteries to last longer I’ll add two things: First batteries *leak.* Second in a quick informal experiment I dug out an old hand-cranked light that I’ve had sitting unused on a shelf somewhere and compared its brightness after a minute of cranking to this 3 AA-powered tripod light. It was almost indistinguishable. So if you’re worried about your batteries running dry get a hand-cranked light and you’ll have about the same amount of usable light as you’ll get with this product — and you’ll *never* need to change the AAs.

I am a truck driver and I use flashlight light on daily basis I have bought expensive LED and regular flashlights from big name store like Costco Canadian tire Walmart even from Amazon too but this tripod movable head and very economical flash light beat them all this is my second flashlight first one someone stole.This flashlight never gave up on me it needed AAA batteries its more than 4 months for my second flashlight and it is as bright as first day . Tripod make it more handy and at night I have to do pre trip or any mechanical work tripod and movable head works like magic . This flashlight is excellent addition to my truck tools.

Bought this as Amazon had a great deal on it. I have the older one that requires 3 batteries per leg (3 per light) and that got expensive.This new one only requires 3 total batteries which is a cost savings and it’s just as bright if not brighter than the original.

Doesn’t seem to be high quality plastic but it does exactly what it’s supposed to. Can fold out stands and use it as a spotlight or fold it up to convert to “flashlight mode”. Great for camping especially if you are doing dishes or setting up the tent in the dark.

Pas un mauvais produit mais n’éclaire pas beaucoup par rapport à d’autres lampes similaires. Pour petits travaux rapprochés.
