Shipping took a couple of weeks but is a great protein for a decent price especially for an isolate. Mixes well and tastes great – no chemical taste.No complaints with the protein but probably won’t order through here again though just because of the shipping time. You can get it for basically the same price through other online stores where it will arrive in Japan in 3-5 days.

One of the better proteins according to US ratings I read…it works for me and compared to stuff you can buy in sports shops around Japan…well anyone who’s tried the local wares…you know what i’m talking about!

There is scientific evidence that “you’re bloated when your stomach feels swollen or tight it is one of the most common effects of having too much salt. It helps your body retain water so extra fluid builds up.” It is also known that side effect of Whey Protein is that it causes bloated sensation. But I had used a Whey Isolate Protein that contains from 120mg to 320mg per serving that have caused me an intense bloated sensation totally uncomfortable that have last up to 4 days. I threw away this Whey Isolate Protein. In my search for a Whey Isolate Protein with less salt per serving I found NOW it has 50mg per serving. I still feel a bloated sensation but it is totally tolerable and it last less than 2 hours. In addition to that it is delicious.So recommendation buy NOW Whey Isolate Protein.

Update: I have indeed bought more as I bought the 5lb container this time. Also my kids tried some of my drink & they liked it.I decided to try this brand after the brand I previously used more than doubled in price. This actually has more EAA’s than my previous brand. It also has 0 net carb with 25g protein which is why I chose this brand since it compares to my previous. I used this in the same way as my previous brand & it blended up nicely & was a silky smooth drink instead of gritty/sandy texture like many I have tried in the past. It also had less foam it after blending I have seemed to notice also. The vanilla flavor was subtle so it is a good base to add flavors to (such as my blueberry flavoring). I think that I will be buying more of this in the bigger size. If the previous brand went back to the original pricing I am not sure if I would switch back or stay with this kind (leaning to staying with this kind). It would be nice to have a few more flavors & have a bigger flavor but since I usually add flavorings it doesn’t matter too much.
