So I am not a fan of this protein powder. I have lots of allergies and rice protein is my go to. I wanted to try a different brand from Metagenics in hopes that I might find an alternative. However this brand’s taste is simply bland.Best Pros – No sugar Allergy compliant (for me at least)Cons – Contains Soy and I simply do not like the taste.

Blends well but it has like no chocolate flavour. So thats why i gave it 4 stars

Tried this Nutribiotic Rice Protein powder this morning in my shake. It definitely has that typical plant based protein powder consistency but it does blend well. It tastes better than pea and soy protein. The chocolate flavor is very mild but I don’t mind it as I don’t like overpowering flavors.I mixed 10oz almond milk 3tbsp rice protein 1/2 c frozen blueberries half a large banana cinnamon and 2 tbsp PB2. Blended in my bullet for 30-40 second and it came out delicious. Not gritty or sand like with the perfect flavors of banana and blueberry. I have IBS and diverticulitis and so far no stomach upset bloating gas etc. I eat a plant based diet and look forward to using this in my shakes pre or post workout. Low calorie low carb low sugar and not too much protein. I’ll update in a week or so!

The flavor is actually okay like watery chocolate sand. However it has rice syrup solids in it. I wasn’t having blood sugar problems until after I replaced my regular Garden Of Life pea and rice protein with it. The appeal of this product was the simple list of ingredients compared to the long lists of other brands. Alas my body did not appreciate the simple sugar effect that rice syrup solids had on me. Wish it had worked. Totally do-able flavor.
